The Story Behind RAKORIS
The idea for the RAKORIS travel jacket began with one man’s vision.
As a military member and later an international organization professional, he traveled the world — from tense conflict zones to idyllic destinations enjoyed on rare vacations.
One day, while strolling through a sunlit town in Italy, free from work’s pressures, he wondered: Why isn’t there a garment that lets you travel without a bag, yet still enjoy refined elegance?
That question sparked RAKORIS. A team of experts in design, pattern-making, textiles, and production collaborated with Japan’s finest fabric mills and tailoring workshops to create a jacket unlike any other.
After three years of development, the RAKORIS travel jacket was born, crafted in Japan with fabrics meticulously developed from the very design concept, ready to bring effortless elegance from an island nation in the Far East to the world.

The outer shell is crafted from the highest-quality non-mulesed wool, woven in Japan’s renowned Bishu mills, the same used by top luxury brands. The lining features traditional Hamamatsu-made ripstop fabric, using Egyptian Finks cotton of exceptional quality.
Wool’s Natural Performance
The wool fabric used for the outer shell naturally offers water repellency, stain resistance, wrinkle resistance, odor control, moisture absorption, and UV protection.
